"JCD"  April 14, 1994  (Version "2.0")

	   Similar to Norton's "NCD" , this utility allows you to jump from
	your current directory to a subdir without specifying the whole path-
	name to get there.  for example, say you're in in directory C:\MYDIR
	and you enter:

		C> JCD UTI

	   You could be jumped to a C:\DOS\UTILITY subdir.  If JCD doesn't
	find a matching subdir, it'll tell you and leave the current directory
	unchanged.

	   If you know you have more than one matching subdir, you can use the
	"/M" switch (or "/m") to list your choices, as follows:

		C:\> jcd/m u

	   JCD keeps a data file called "JCD.DAT" in your root directory
	(directorIES if you use it on more than one drive) and will rescan
	your disk for subdirs under the following conditions:

		a)  you use the "/r" switch , i.e. : JCD/R UTI

		b)  you start JCD from a subdir it doesn't find in JCD.DAT,
		    unless you only specify a drive letter or ".." , in
		    which cases, it puts you there without checking the
		    current directory.  JCD only needs to be located somewhere
		    in your PATH to run.

		c)  If JCD.DAT isn't found in the root directory.

				  The Future of JCD

	       This is the last "ShareWare" release of JCD, and actually
	  should have been called version 1.x instead of 2.0.

	       The future plans for the program include:

	       -> a "graphical" interface for changing sub-dirs.

	       -> a "status" command to summarize the "abbreviableness" of 
		  your directory tree.

	       -> optional assistance in renaming your subdirs to minimize
		  matches.

	       -> FAST re-scans when JCD is started in a directory not
		  found in JCD.DAT.  (It will only scan the current subdir,
		  instead of scanning the whole disk).

	       -> All other user input will be considered.
